Workers of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation are up to usual tricks.
They have started usual protests.
And the target is Folorunsho Coker, the new Director-General of the tourism agency friends call ''folly''.
Checks revealed thesame tactics have been used against all past bosses of the NTDC from Otunba Segun Runsewe, to Omotayo Omotosho onto Sally Mbanefo and now Folorunsho Coker.
Further checks revealed the workers usually adopt the ‘’measure’’ when the D.G refuses to dance to their tune.
Coker is said to have particularly adopted a system that puts all processes under thorough checks, while he worked on a model to plug all loopholes and great mileage on all ‘’investments’’ while ‘’reinvesting’’ the gains back into the system.
The workers were said to have found the strategy to kick out ‘’bad habits’’ in the system suffocating and decided to kick back with usual antics.
They cash in on the absence of Coker on Wednesday, November 29 to execute their usual strategy at the NTDC headquarters.
Carrying placards of different dimensions they dredged up all the charges used to paint past bosses black against the new D.G.
And arranged for ‘’orchestrated media campaign’’ to blow up things.
Societynow however gathered that Minister in charge of the operations of the agency Lai Muhammed (Information and culture) has stepped into the affair.
