Godswill Akpabio's Faces Probe Over Loyalist, Nse Ntuen's Arrest For Smuggling $82,000 In America!

Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Godswill Akpabio is set to be investigated.

And this development is labelled 'as a result of the arrest of one of his loyalist in America'

His staunch supporter and chairman of Essien Udim, Local Government area, Mr Nse Ntuen was arrested in the United States of America  on Friday August 16 2013 for smuggling $82,000.

He reportedly declared only $5.000 to immigration authorities- the remaining $77,000 was found in his bag on inspection.

He immediately arrested and detained for questioning for over 5 hours for questioning. The Akwa Ibom state official claimed the money was meant for official use.


He was later released and the Maryland State Police Department seized the fund.

Insiders claim there is a mounting pressure from those tagged 'concerned citizens' for the matter to be properly investigated in Nigeria.

The move is based on premise allegation that the suspect wasn't acting alone.

That he has a sponsor, with allegations of being an agent of the State Chief Executive Officer - based on their closeness- making the rounds.
