UBA Shuts Down Internet Banking Application Platform

The United Bank for Africa is about to shut down its Internet Banking Application platform.

According to
information available, this development will take place between the 12.00am and 2.am Sunday, November 11, 2018.

The Kennedy Uzoka led bank claims the move is to enable it to carry out ‘’system maintenance’’.

UBA sent out a mail notifying customers of this planned shutdown of a vital arm of its operations just hours to the execution.

The bank, however, informed customers that other digital payment channels will be available for transactions.

UBA recently discontinued use of its credit and debit cards in the world's fastest-growing economy, China over issues that pertain to ''security''.
