Party Youths Raise Alarm In Kogi Over Plot By PDP Aspirants To Hijack Election Materials For National Assembly Primary Election

The Peoples Democratic Party Youth Frontier has called the attention to the leadership of the PDP over plot by some aspirants to hijack election materials meant for the
party's National Assembly primary election across the country, especially Kogi east senatorial district.

This call was made in a press statement signed by the group's National Coordinator, Usman  Okai Austin  and made available to newsmen in Abuja.

The full statement reads;

"Our attention has been drawn to a sinister plot by some unpopular aspirants who do not mean well for the party to collude with some members of the primary committee to hijack election materials meant for their constituencies, especially Kogi east senatorial district.

We make bold to say that an aspirant, who's a serving senator has boasted among his aides that he has perfected every arrangement to hijack election materials meant for Kogi east senatorial.

Our investigation reveals that aside Kogi east, some other aspirants are bent on manipulating the process to favor themselves.

We therefore call on our energetic national chairman, Uche Secondus, National Organising Secretary (NoS)  and the entire leadership of our great party to look into this and ensure that the party allows for a level playing field for all the aspirants.

Furthermore, we wish to state that Kogi state is a very delicate state, and Kogi east is a very important district in the state that our party can't afford to you with. Already the PDP enjoys massive support in the zone and the state that the PDP cannot afford to allow to slip away", he concluded.
