NBL MANAGEMENT IN CRISIS OVER GUS 7 MULTIPLE SCANDALS.

Egg heads at Nigeria Breweries Plc are in disarray.
And this development is the fall out of the novel concept to shore up the ante of excitement and mileage derivable from the arresting project that launder and establish the image of cash cow, Gulder every year- the Gulder Ultimate search.
The idea tagged Gulder Ultimate Search Celebrity show down is fast turning out a not so good idea by the day.
The myriads of scandals trailing the effort are threatening to drown the acceptance seven years of investment has gathered for the brand.
And the management of NBL are at their wits ends to contain the situation before things get out of hand.
The fear is that if care is not taken the negativity trailing the concept which is enveloped in a sex scandal, assault charge, ego and jealousy from participants may turn public perception against the multi million naira project and the brand Gulder.
The image handling organ of the company is said to be in a feverish of activities on how to get things right.
The first inkling that the company have gotten this edition of the show wrong came when major participants Rita Dominic and Ramsey Nouah pulled out barely twenty fours to the official unveiling of the show on the reasons that a fellow artiste they are not on good terms with, Genevieve Nnaji was chosen to be the Anchor of the show.
They were a part of all publicity materials and virtually all pre launch activities.
The organisers had rallied round and went along with the programme with the vacuum created hardly noticeable.
Ten other celebrities, Dare Art Alade, Daddy Showkey, Obesere, Princess, Weird M.C,Muma Gee, Emeka Ike,Funke Akindele,Bob Manuel Udokwu and Chioma Chukwura were shipped to the sight of the reality show.
They did not spend up to the scheduled time frame before they were sent packing.
Daddy Showkey ended up beating Princess like a child throwing tantrum for disrespecting him, Muma Gee and Chioma Chukwura engaged in such petty fighting and wrangling that the organisers had to constantly separate them, based on alleged hate from other girls in the house Emeka Ike and Muma Gee reportedly got so close that allegations of sexual affair between the two rented the air in camp- they have both vehemently denied the affair.
All these occurrences and more reportedly made the organisers cut shut the time to be spent in camp – but not before ensuring the three finalist for the final shooting have emerged. They are Emeka Ike, Dare Art Alade and Daddy Showkey. Musician Weird M.C was adjudged the last woman standing.
However with the stories of what transpired in the house quickly making the rounds- the sponsor of the show, NBL Plc have started becoming uncomfortable with the kind of negative perception the tales might rub off on the company and the brand. As at press time they yet to come up with a clear cut idea on how to manage the looming crisis.
