Fresh information from the fold of Heritage bank just dispelled talks of a board room crisis that has eased out top shot, Robert Mbonu.
The easing out of Mbonu is alleged to have come on the heels of the acquisition of Enterprise Bank and conflicts of interest with Managing Director, Ifie Sekibo on manner of integration of operations and seniority of influence.
A deep source within the bank however tagged the story of board room crisis as 'untrue'.
According to the insider Mbonu remains a member of the banks board of Directors till date.
'He is in fact running a 1yr management course in preparation for higher service after integration of operations with Enterprise bank' the source divulged.
'There is no ember of discord...the bank is working together as team, that is why Rob is on a management course..the rumour is not correct' the source re emphasise.
