shunned a dinner invitation

The
former Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Union Bank of
Nigeria Plc.
Mrs. Funke Osibodu in company some of her high profiled friends
extended a warm gesture to Mrs. Aishat Buhari the first lady of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria to host her to a private dinner ball in honor of her
husband’s inauguration.

gathers that the first lady politely turns down the gesture, even though there
were no reasons given.
It would
be recalled that the chieftains of the All Progressives Party (APC) had earlier
urged the first lady to decline a previous dinner invitation of one of
Nigeria’s richest women, Bola Shagaya. The invite was declined based on the
fact that she is known to have dined and wined with the past wives of the heads
of state in Nigeria. She is only goes where the grass is greener.
