APC Disqualifies Gov Obaseki From Edo Guber Primary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, from contesting in the

party’s governorship primary election scheduled for June 22, 2020.

Obaseki was disqualified on Friday during a press conference organised by the committee.

The announcement was made by the committee chairman, Prof. Jonathan Ayuba.

According to Ayuba, Obaseki failed to present his Higher School Leaving Certificate.

He also noted that the committee could not ascertain the authenticity of his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.
