Nigeria's Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefele has moved his wife and kids to the UK aboard a chartered private jet.
This is said to be in violation of President Buhari's government closure of the Nigerian airspace during COVID-19 lockdown across the country.
The flight, a private jet – a Bombardier Global Express
luxury jet with registration number N104DA was operated by Executive Jet
Services – the same company embroiled in a recent controversy over the
violation of the nation’s lockdown by flying musician, Naira Marley, to Abuja
from Lagos to perform at a concert at Jabi Lake Mall.
The Nigerian Government had announced that only essential
travels will be permitted by air across the country.
