Defection Disgrace : Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Orders Teddy Shine’s Wife, Folake To Become P.A Of Her Former Aide!.

Folake Oshinowo, the wife of socialite Teddy Shine is in for a massive disgrace on her defection to the APC.

She has been ordered to become the personal assistant of her of her former aides when she was a House of Representative member with the PDP.

Here are the details

How else would one describe the twist in political fate between one time famous female politician, Folake Olunloyo-Oshinowo and her former personal assistant who is set to become her boss, Saheed Fijabi.

Like a scene from a Nollywood movie, Mrs. Folake Olunloyo-Oshinowo is facing the biggest humiliation of her political life. She is set to become the personal assistant, to wait for it, her own former personal assistant, Saheed Fijabi.

The plot of this unbelievable but true story started in 2007 when Mrs. Folake Oshinowo who is married to Tunde Oshinowo widely known as Teddy Shine in Ibadan social circle, won an election under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to represent Ibadan South West Federal Constituency at the House of Representative.

One of the key figures who ensured that she emerged victorious at the polls was Mr. Saheed Akinade Fijabi, but, hardly had the euphoria that greeted her victory at the poll subsided that she started exhibiting the traits of an ingrate.
Worse hit by her show of ingratitude was the poor Saheed Fijabi who worked tirelessly to ensure her victory. Widely regarded as Folake’s chief errand man or chief messenger, Fijabi was more than a faithful servant. It was widely expected that Folake was going to reward him adequately after she won the elections.

But contrary to all expectations, Folake, on getting to Abuja neglected and totally forgot everything about Fijabi who as a result of his boss’ wickedness became a laughing object before his contemporaries and miserable with Folake’s snobbish attitude. Fijabi on several occasions traveled to Abuja to see Folake who gave him a cold reception he never envisaged.
All pleas by Fijabi to Folake to at least fix him somewhere he could earn a living fell on deaf ears, it got so bad that Folake eventually blocked all access to him.

But, rather than wallow in self-pity, Saheed Fijabi took his future into his hands and started consultation with decision makers and elders of the Ibadan South West Federal Constituency where Hon Folake Oshinowo had become very unpopular due to her high handedness.

Since Folake was flying the PDP flag, Saheed Fijabi pitched his tent with the then Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and challenged his ex-boss’ re-election bid. By a stroke of luck, a dint of hard-work and the fact that the people were tired of Olunloyo, Fijabi soundly and roundly defeated Folake at the polls. Hence, power changed hands; the errand boy became an Honorable member of the Federal House of Representative.

When dawned on her that she was heading for political obscurity and with the winds of change blowing across the political terrain, Folake saw the handwriting on the wall and decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) penultimate week. She then turned to the lion of Lagos politics, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu for help.

If Folake thought she will get respite from Asiwaju, she got the biggest shocker of her life, according to reliable sources who alleged that Asiwaju told her in clear terms that she has to go back to her constituency where Fijabi is holding sway as that is the only place where she can get an appointment.

You won’t believe it that Asiwaju said “You can only work with Saheed Fijabi as PA or you wait for next 4years if we can get a space for you” he alleged

Folake, since she was hit with this bombshell has been crying to all who cares to listen that it is very humiliating for her to start begging her former errand boy for an appointment while they on the other hand has been telling her to swallow her pride and go and beg Fijabi. It is yet to be seen if she will heed her friends’ advice and go to Fijabi to beg for forgiveness.
